An Angel of Protection

Well this is actually pretty old. I made it back all the way in Augest, for my brother, who came to visit us. You see, my older bro is a Marine. At the time he came to visit us, he was staioned in Gorgia, and at the moment he's in Hawaii. But he's only able to visit us every 6 months, and soon it will be a LONG while till we can ever see or speak to him due to military reasons. (Cant really talk about it, my bro asked me not to say anything about till after this next monday)

So anyways, while he was gone and before he came to visit, I always thought about him and missed him a bit. I just though of how he was always ther for me and always was there to help me and protect me and guide me through the hard times in my life. But who will protect him? Who will be there to help, and guide when he's alone?

Thats what i thought about a lot. I wanted to protect him like he has for me, yet I'm so many miles apart from him, so what can I do? I pray for him, but I wished I could do more. Thus This idea of this painting came out. I made it for my bro, it's an angel of protection. One that will defend him with her holy sword, and her shield of hope, and who will comfort him with her kind words.

So I painted this for my bro and gave it to him.

Some people may say that angels dont exist, but I bet one is, even though you cant see it.

So this pic is deicated to my brother, the one that has always been there for me.

I Know the pic is a bit blurry and not so great looking, but blame the stupid scanner! It just came out like this when I scanned it. It looks much bettre in person.
